League details:

 

Starts Sunday (TBD)

Two divisions a 3.5 and below and a 3.5 and above league.  

Matches played on Sunday’s 5pm.

8 total players for each match, 4 ladies and 4 gentlemen.

Players will play ladies/gentlemen’s doubles and mixed doubles every match.

Every team will require a captain and a co-captain.

If there is a rain-out, captains may try to reschedule for another day/time.  If this can't be arranged or agreed-upon for any reason at all, the match will be rescheduled to the end of the league.  League Admin will assist and advise.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Team Captains will go to Team Captain Registration to sign up their team and pay the team fee of $200.  All individual players may then go to Individual Player Registration to sign up On their team for $25.

Match Format:

Your squad/team should be categorized into 2 levels--an A Team and a B Team.  On league day, two waves of matches will be played.  The first wave* will have the B Team players competing, second wave will have the A Team players competing.    *B Team players are first wave

Format/scoring: 8 total players each week, 4 ladies and 4 gentlemen, first wave will start at 5pm: ladies/gentlemen’s doubles followed by 4 players playing mixed doubles. 2nd wave will be same format. All matches will be best of 3 games, first to 11 points.  Switch ends of the court after the end of the first game.  If the match carries on to a 3rd game, switch ends every 6 points during the 3rd game. 

Teams receive 1 point for each winning head-to-head doubles match.

You are allowed one timeout per game.  The home team provides balls for the matches, as this will be based on your venue type -- Indoor vs Outdoor balls.

CAPTAINS: In the event a scheduled player is injured or unavailable for any reason, you may substitute another player--it can even be from the other team!  It may also be a player from your team who has already played their matches!
